Shuddha Guggulu is a natural medicine based on the resin, which is similar to the rubber. It is a juice of a tree Commiphora growing in India. Rich in its composition, it is notable for the broad range of the curative effects on the human’s body. The product contains no preservatives and chemical substances.

Healing properties and indications

In the Ayurvedic medicine Guggulu resin has been used for centuries, especially in the treatment of atherosclerosis (prevents the hardening and embolism) and helps to reduce blood cholesterol.

Removes the inflammation and pain; it is used for the joint problems (arthritis). It is also recommended for the treatment of periodontal tissue, lumbago (a pinched nerve, departing from the spinal cord, accompanied by acute pain), whites, dyspepsia (digestive process disorders).

Helps to control the weight. The use of this product improves the metabolism. It is used for the treatment of gout (a disease, caused by metabolic disorders; in this disease, the salts of urine acids deposit in the joints).

Activates the process of tissue regeneration (especially the nerve tissue). Thank to this, the amount of mortified tissue and fat is decreasing.

The use of Shuddha Guggulu promotes fast cleaning of organism from Ama (accumulated slags, toxins, excreta, which are the main reasons of any disease). That is possible due to the fact that Guggulu resin is a perfect adsorbent. It gives a visible rejuvenating effect to the whole organism.

Substances, contained in Guggulu, contribute to the treatment of acne and different skin diseases.

The longstanding use of Guggulu increases Pitta (the primary element of fire in Ayurveda). It is used for the treatment of nervous disorders, smoothly reducing Vata (the reason of nervous problems is heightened Vata – the primary element of air in Ayurveda).

Indications for use

Take 1 capsule a day after the meal (within 2 hours), washing it down with warm water. The long-term use of Guggulu won’t cause any side effects. It is not recommended to experiment with the high doses of medicine, as it can provoke such body reactions, as itching, headaches, stomachache, sickness, vomiting, and diarrhea.

You should consult the Ayurvedic doctor before using this product.

Only the people over 14 can use the medicine.

Contraindications

Intolerance to the medicine.

It is not recommended during pregnancy and breastfeeding, hormonal disorders (as Guggulu has a potential to act as an estrogen- the hormone of women’s youth). It is also unadvisable to use Guggulu together with the medicines containing estrogen.

If you have problems with the functioning of thyroid, you can take the medicine only with the doctor’s permission.

Guggulu can’t be used after operation (especially in the first 2 weeks), as it can cause bleeding.
