Albuterol is a medicine, usually used by the doctors for the prevention of bronchial spasms and by asthma.

According to the method of application, Albuterol is intended for the influence on bronchial receptors and blood vessels. The drug is specially developed to increase the general lung capacity, reducing significantly the resistance of respiratory tract.

Albuterol can be bought at any pharmacy of your city. The medicine is available in the form of powder, inhalation solution, pills for oral intake and aerosol.

Albuterol is usually taken for prevention and treatment of the bronchial spasms and at the initial stages of bronchial asthma.

Besides, the doctors affirm that the drug is very efficient by the lung emphysema and chronic bronchitis of the obstruction of respiratory tract.

Albuterol also fits for the use in gynecology. It is usually used by the premature birth, caused by uterine contractions.
Albuterol can be used from the age of 12. The dose is from 6 to 16 mg a day. Only on doctor’s prescription it can be increased to 32 mg.

The medicine in the form of aerosol helps greatly by the bronchial spasms and asthma attacks. The dose is one injection 2-3 times a day.

The attacks caused by physical exercises require the intake of medicine approx. half an hour before the exercises.
The inhalation medicine is used 3-4 times a day. The tolerance dose is 5 mg. The doctors recommend using the drug and at the same time watching the level of potassium in the body.

Albuterol can cause tachycardia, sickness, sometimes vomiting and headache. Besides, the use of this drug can cause different allergic reactions. If you feel the negative influence of medicine, you should stop the treatment and go to the doctor.

Before starting the treatment with Albuterol, the doctor must check the reaction of patient’s body to the drug components. If the patient has a heightened sensibility or intolerance of the drug, the treatment must be cancelled.

The medicine must not be used by the pregnant women and nursing mothers.
It also can’t be taken in case of glaucoma, heart failure and diabetes.
