Modafinil should be used exactly as directed by your doctor. The pill is usually taken with a full glass of water, in the morning. In case you happen to miss a dose of the medicine, then simply take it as soon as you remember. Do not take the dose too late though, as this can break your regular sleep cycle.
When it comes down to taking Modafinil, make sure to avoid alcohol at all costs, as in combination with it, it can lead to some serious side effects. Together with this, do not take more of the pill than the recommended dose. While the pill cannot cure sleep disorders, it can help inhibit their symptoms, thus allowing patients to lead better and more active lives.
