Allegra belongs to the category “C” on FDA classification with regard to the pregnancy. It means that the harmful effect of the drug on the fetus is unproven. Don’t take Allegra if you’re pregnant without a previous consultation with a doctor. It is also unknown if Allegra penetrates into the human milk. Don’t take Allegra if you’re a nursing mother without a previous consultation with a doctor.
The drug is not recommended to the children under the age of 6.

The other, less serious side effects are more possible. Continue taking the drug and tell the doctor if you have sickness or indigestion.
