Acticin

Acticin ointment is a means for the destruction of various species of mites, including demodex. The main component of the current ointments are pirethroids – synthetic substances that penetrate into the mite, causing firstly the paralysis and then the death of the parasite.

A disadvantage of many traditional means of demodectic mange is their low ability to penetrate into the deeper layers of the skin and then directly in the tick.

Molecules of permethrin ointments have deeper penetration, pass through the strong armor of the parasite, paralyze and kill the demodex.
